HeartSmart Screenings

Tuesdays  8 – 10 a.m.   HealthPoint Plaza in Cape

Wednesdays and Fridays 8 – 10 a.m.     HealthPoint Fitness in Jackson

Heart Smart screenings are provided on a walk-in basis. Cholesterol, glucose and lipid profile screenings are provided for nominal fees. A 10-hour fast is required before the lipid test for accurate reading of HDL, LDL and Triglyceride levels.

Blood pressure screenings are provided free of charge at both locations as well as Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Generations Center.

Effective June 1, 2008 the following changes will be made in the HeartSmart Screenings. HeartSmart Screenings will be held on
Tuesdays, 7-10 a.m. at HealthPoint Fitness - Cape 573-986-4400
Wednesdays 7-10 a.m. at HealthPoint Fitness - Jackson 573-243-2211

NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY!

  • Glucose Screening $5.00 (requires a 2-hour fast)
  • Lipid Profile $22.50 for a profile of your HDL, LDL and Triglyceride levels (requires a 10-hour fast)
