A weekend retreat for cancer patients and their families will be held at the beautiful Sunnen Center at the YMCA of the Ozarks near Potosi, Missouri. We Can Weekend is a unique experience developed to meet some of the special concerns of families learning to cope with cancer.

Fee for the retreat is $50 per family which includes lodging and meals from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. The fee is refundable at the end of the weekend through the support of the Regional Cancer Center at Southeast Missouri Hospital and the American Cancer Society.

Activities have been planned for the special needs of patients, spouses and children of patients, and they will be under the direction of health care professionals from Southeast and specially trained volunteers. The weekend will also include time to fish, swim, boat, hike, play tennis or try archery or a ropes course.
